[Tune] Slyde - Kiss Kiss Bang Bang / Twocker Rmx (Finger Lickin’)
Slyde make a triumphant return to Finger Lickin’ with the third single to be taken off their forthcoming album.
‘Kiss Kiss Bang Bang’ is a high energy breaks/electro cross over club banger! Lady Posh, posh provides hooky ‘raggaish’ vocals giving the whole track a pumped up vibe. These sit over a electro infused dance floor destroyer that will indubitably be rocking clubs across the genres.
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is clearly some of Slydes strongest works to date and sees Finger Lickin’ records take a slight step back towards the funkier end of breaks from whence it all started. A good thing indeed!
On the flip ‘Twocker’ goes down a much more electro-house path laying down a straight up 4/4 beat and lowering the BPM somewhat, yet Twoker manages the power and general vibe of the original. Maybe not such an instant floor banger the Twoker mix will undoubtedly be getting support form the electro house jocks.
‘Kiss Kiss Bang Bang’ is due out at the end of February with the album ‘Everyone’s Entitled to Our Opinion’ due for release in March, and if the last few offerings from Slyde are anything to go by its going to be seriously essential listening!
